Action items in pink and donations (ask your sphere) are PINK and BOLDED
Julie B. puts a lot of love ♥️ and attention into each Birthday 🎂 Box. She has all of you to thank for "goodies" that go inside. Julie is so thrifty that she still accepts NEW shoe boxes, both plastic and cardboard. She then takes the time to wrap them with gift paper. A work of art and a labor of love - each and every box!
Christine B (a future WCC member) is well on track to complete 500+ Holiday 🎁 Boxes by Dec 1st. She is committed and such a force! The beautiful white boxes donated by Michelle D are working so well. We even got a group of young ladies to stamp them with a holiday theme. So festive and they appreciate the volunteer hours. Hand towels & Pot Holders - holiday or not, are much appreciated!
Kathy M. is doing a wonderful job with the toiletry kits, and wrapping bars of dove soap in a washcloth. She has us well stocked! Save all the things she needs and bring them to the meetings or drop them at MoW. Bandaids, Dove soap, wash cloths, mini toiletries, Nail clippers, nail files, mini lotions too. She has really embraced this project.
Jo G. is making our Office 🏢 kits now and is way ahead of schedule too. Jumped in with both feet and always ready for more. Save for her Rubber Bands, Large Paper Clips, note pads, sticky notes, pens, pencils, highlighters & markers.
Helen Z has a new design for Birthday 👑 Crowns (da, da da DAH!) in the works. That means we will have OPPORTUNITIES to get involved folding paper soon. Stand by ladies, I know I can count on you.
Dana & Barbara are a great pair tackling Brain Games 🧠 We are set through June of 2026! Yippee!
Kathy M. Took on the ongoing task of cutting rolls of shelf liner into our "fancy" jar openers.Always ready with more.
Steve and Cathy B. - Long time WCC supporters, also supply us with "jar openers" each month. Between the two teams, we have enough for Birthdays, Initial Response AND Christmas. YAY! So grateful for your generosity.
Janell andLaura are still busy ALL YEAR with Birthday tags for Birthday boxes & upscaling used greeting cards to make new Note cards & Ornaments. They are a dynamic duo for sure. So dedicated. HelenZ. , in addition to those crowns👑 (da, da da DAH!) continues with origami folded note cards. Made from 12x12 paper if you have any scrapbooking supplies left over. Consistantly 50 per month... makes my hands tired just thinking about it. Julie B then enlists outside help (or herself) to write a Happy Birthday message. Many hands make for....many happy Seniors!
Kathy S. (former WCC member) supplies us with beautiful handmade cards every month. She gets her craft on and scatters some joy too! Clever, creative and consistent.
Jodi W. and her troops are always busy contributing. Keep those cute Birthday wishes coming.
Kimberly S., Another new addition to the group, has bundled some cards for us and did a great job. Looking for more volunteers to help with this. Holiday 🎄 and ALL occasion 🎉 cards are now plentiful and I just need someone to bundle and deliver to MoW monthly or every other. Save ALL of your unused greeting cards and Holiday cards! .... and your neighbors' cards, and your sisters' cards, and everyone else's too!
Lisa (me) I get my craft on too with the IR bag tags. (Initial Response) Approx 40 per month and making sure we have the other 25,000 donated items we use throughout the year. Love those used greeting cardsfor this project too. ASK YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS! If they are not suitable for Jennel and Laura, I make a tag (or tags) out of them. Assembling IR bags brings me great joy and we all have a part in saying "Welcome to MoW" to the new clients. Thank You!
There are no words to express the joy 💓 and gratitude 🙏 this project generates for SOOOOOO MANY PEOPLE. Thank you for your continued dedication.
