For decades, the Woman's Club of Carlsbad has awarded scholarships to local students pursuing higher education. Based on advice and research of its Philanthropy Committee, WCC also supports various community programs by making financial donations and performing service in North County primarily benefiting women and children in the areas of arts & culture, civic engagement & outreach, education & libraries, the environment, and health & wellness. With a desire to help meet urgent community needs, WCC generally focuses its charitable donations on grassroots organizations where we feel our help will have the most impact. WCC also holds member and community drives where goods are collected for organizations and charities.
