With each act of altruism, we discover the immeasurable value of heartfelt giving, enriching not only the lives of those we serve but also our own.

Gently Hugged

WCC is thrilled to volunteer at Gently Hugged and support their efforts to provide basic necessities of life for babies in need.

MAAC Food Distribution

MAAC empowers individuals and families through high-quality programs and community advocacy. Their Food Distribution Program ensures access to healthy, essential food for those in need.

Banding Together

Mentoring 1–4 teens and young adults with special needs while they sing, play music, and build social skills essential for thriving in the community.

Kathy's Legacy

WCC not only makes monetary donations to Kathy's Legacy but assists with and volunteers at their annual golf tournament.

Meals on Wheels

WCC supports Meals on Wheels by making cards, tags, brain games, favors, and by donating toothpaste, socks, toiletry items, notepads, pencils, jar openers, pill organizers, playing cards, calendars, puzzle books, and more. ​

​​First Responder Treats

WCC shows our appreciation to our first responders by delivering home-baked love-in-a-box to all fire stations and the Safety Center in Carlsbad.

Boys & Girls Club of Carlsbad

Mother's Day jewelry is selected and wrapped with care by the children at the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad with a little help from WCC volunteers.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

Holiday spirit flows when getting gifts packed up for children and families in conjunction with the Salvation Army.

Hand-made Baby Hats

Our talented members make & donate hundreds of soft & cozy knitted, crocheted & loomed baby hats to local hospitals each year.

​​Stand Up for Kids Meals (2009-2023)

WCC provided items for the pantry and hot, home-cooked meals for at-risk youth in the StandUp for Kids program in Oceanside until its closing in 2023.
